President: Jackie Krupa
Jackie Krupa is a fourth year Chemical Engineer from Newington, CT and is currently serving as the VP of Operations of the AIChE.
She is also pursuing the Engineering Business Minor, and plans to get her MBA. She is on the Virginia Women's Rugby team and is also an active memeber
in AOE, UVA's only engineering sorority. In her spare time, she listens to all genres of music, and she loves watching football and baseball,
especially the Giants and the Red Sox.

VP of Service: Matthew Christian
Matthew Christian is a fourth year currently serving as Vice President of Service of the AIChE, which involves running the Wahoo Wizards elementary school science demonstrations. In his spare time, he likes racquet sports and exploring the great outdoors. He has interned at Celanese and ExxonMobil.

VP of Operations: Quyen Nguyen
Quyen Nguyen is a fourth year Chemical Engineer from Vienna, VA. She interned at Anheuser-Busch as a process project engineer in the
Williamsburg brewery, and at 2rw Consultants, Inc. She enjoys sports and coaches basketball in her spare time. She also hopes to one day own a farm and a restaurant.

Treasurer: Justin Bova
Justin Bova is a fourth year Chemical Engineer from Dobbs Ferry, NY and is Treasurer of AIChE. He is interested in environmental work, and hopes that his career leads him down a path in sustainable practices. Justin's interest include quoting movies, golf, road trips, tropical locations, working out, and discussing the fallacies of large corporations. Justin likes to live by the saying, "Don't wait for change. Be the change."

Social Chair: Doug Godfrin
Doug Godfrin is a fourth year from North Smithfield, RI and is the current AIChE social chair. He is minoring in materials science and plans on attending graduate school for chemical engineering. He conducted research this past summer at MIT. As hobbies, he plays for the men's club ice hockey team at UVA, is treasurer and member of the beach volleyball club, and thoroughly enjoys playing racquetball with singing.

Webmaster: Amit Talapatra
Amit Talapatra is a third year Chemical Engineering major from Springfield, VA and is currently serving as Webmaster
of the AIChE. He is currently working on a minor in science and technology policy, and last summer, he interned at the Federation of American Scientists in Washington, DC.

Kathryn Strobel is a fourth year Chemical Engineer from Pittsburgh, PA and is currently serving as a Co-Historian of AIChE. She is doing the biotechnology concentration and interned with Merck the past two summers. After college, she plans to attend graduate school. She enjoys travel, wine, music, baking, and the Steelers.

Adrian Santos is a fourth year Chemical Engineering major and is currently serving as Co-Historian of the AIChE. His hobbies include
wrestling, skeet shooting, and dancing. Adrian is a very happy person who likes to make other people smile. He lives by the saying that "if you
can dream it, you can do it", nothing stands in his way.

Fourth-year Rep: Marcel Mibus
Marcel Mibus, from Lynchburg, VA, is a fourth year Chemical Engineering major and Material Science minor. After graduation, he hopes to obtain he PhD in Chemical Engineering. He has worked for AREVA, a nuclear service company, and worked as a researcher in the McIntosh and Zangari labs at UVa. He has dual US-German citizen and is an avid soccer fan.

Third-year Rep: Donna Bryant
Donna Bryant is a third year chemical engineer from Forest, Va. She interned at Babcock & Wilcox Nuclear Engineering Company this past summer and works in a tissue engineering lab at the UVA Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, and a variety of sports.

Third-year Rep: Jessica Butler
Jessica Butler is from Ossining, New York and is currently Co-Director of Wahoo Wizards. She is a 3rd year Chemical Engineering major with a concentration in Biotechnology. After graduation she hopes to work in the pharmaceutical industry. Outside of classes, she enjoys baking, jogging, playing tennis and more baking.

Second-year Rep: Rebecca Lee
Rebecca Lee is a second year majoring in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in biotechnology and a minor in French. She enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, literature, environmental sustainability, music, traveling, and learning languages among many other interests.

Faculty Advisor: John P. O'Connell
John P. O'Connell is currently a Harry Douglas Forsyth Professor at the University of Virginia. He has a Ph.D. from the University
of California and a M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His current research addresses a variety of topics within applied molecular
theory, simulation and modeling.
