This program supports
interdisciplinary biotechnology doctoral education. Five faculty in Chemical
Engineering participate with faculty from Biomedical Engineering,
the School of Medicine and the Graduate College of Arts and
Sciences. Each student has an engineering and a life science
mentor, and completes an industrial internship.
