Most of the chemical
engineering faculty are involved in multidisciplinary research
at UVa. Thus, chemical engineering graduate students have the opportunity to
participate and benefit from interactions with students and faculty from other Departments.
The
Biophysics Program
Research in this program applies physical and chemical principles to the behavior of biological systems
ranging from the sub-cellular level to whole organisms.
